How To Use a Conklin Sherman Adjustable Plug |
VERY IMPORTANT !! |
FIRST MAKE SURE YOUR TUBE IS CLEAN AND DRY |
Step 1. Remove brass cap by turning to the right. |
This must be done to access the adjusting screw. |
Step 2. Turn adjusting screw to the left. The
screw increases the body length of the plug, reducing the body diameter of the
plug. The reduced body diameter of the plug allows it to be inserted freely. |
Step 3. Insert the plug into the tube. Next, turn the
adjusting screw to the right. This will expand the plug diameter and make
a tight fit, holding under pressure. |
Step 4. Replace the cap on the screw by turning the cap
to the left. The cap will protect the adjusting screw. |
The Adjustable Plug can be used many times. |
